Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows, digital products, session packages, events, and approved refund requests are handled on the Minimum Stress platform.
1. General Principles
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to purchases and bookings made through the Minimum Stress platform, including wellness sessions, session packages, classes, events, digital products, downloadable materials, audio content, and related services.
Minimum Stress operates as a wellness discovery and booking platform that may connect users with independent third-party consultants, instructors, coaches, event hosts, wellness providers, and approved fulfillment partners.
Refund and cancellation eligibility depends on the type of product or service purchased, the timing of the request, provider availability, event terms, and any clearly stated terms shown at checkout, booking, or on the product or service page.
2. Physical Products
Physical product returns, damaged items, incorrect items, exchanges, shipping-related refund requests, and product return eligibility are handled under our separate Return & Refund Policy.
Physical products may be fulfilled through approved fulfillment partners, suppliers, or logistics providers. Depending on the product, items may ship from different locations and may arrive in separate packages.
If you have an issue with a physical product order, please contact us at info@minimumstress.com with your order number, item name, and photos if the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
3. Digital Products and Audio Content
Digital products may include hosted audio content, meditation audio, recorded sessions, video content, courses, downloadable materials, digital guides, educational content, or similar resources.
Digital products are licensed for personal use only and are not sold for redistribution, resale, public sharing, commercial use, or unauthorized reproduction unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Once access to a digital product is granted, delivered, downloaded, streamed, or otherwise made available to the user, the purchase is generally final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or clearly stated on the product page.
Refunds will generally not be issued for digital products due to user preference, completed access, partial usage, download issues caused by user device settings, or failure to read the product description before purchase.
4. Sessions and Individual Bookings
Sessions may be offered online or in person by independent consultants, instructors, coaches, specialists, guides, or wellness providers.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session time may be eligible for rescheduling, credit, or refund, subject to provider availability and the terms shown at booking.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session time are generally non-refundable unless the provider or Minimum Stress approves an exception.
If a user fails to attend a scheduled session without prior cancellation, the session may be considered a no-show and may be non-refundable.
If a provider cancels a session, the user may be offered the option to reschedule, receive a credit, or receive a refund for the affected session.
5. Session Packages
Session packages consist of multiple individual sessions sold together at a bundled or package price.
Each session within a package is treated as a separate unit of service. Completion, attendance, cancellation, and refund treatment may be assessed per session.
Refunds are not available for sessions that have already been completed, attended, missed without required notice, or marked as used under platform records.
Unused sessions within a package may be eligible for refund or credit only where permitted by the terms shown on the package page at the time of purchase.
If a package discount was applied, Minimum Stress may calculate any eligible refund based on the standard value of completed or used sessions and the remaining unused portion of the package.
6. Events, Workshops, and Classes
Events, workshops, and classes may be hosted online or in person by independent event hosts, consultants, instructors, coaches, or wellness providers.
Refund and cancellation terms may vary depending on the event listing, host requirements, venue rules, preparation costs, capacity limits, materials, and the nature of the event.
Unless otherwise stated on the event page, event purchases are generally non-refundable once the event has started, once access has been provided, or after the stated cancellation window has passed.
If an event is canceled by the host, users may be offered a refund, credit, or rescheduled date depending on the circumstances and event terms.
Minimum Stress is not responsible for travel costs, accommodation costs, transportation costs, missed work, personal scheduling conflicts, technical issues caused by the user’s device or internet connection, weather conditions, venue issues, or force majeure events beyond reasonable control.
7. Free Tools, Assessments, and Calculators
Free wellness tools, assessments, quizzes, calculators, audio previews, educational content, and result summaries are provided for general informational and educational purposes only.
Because these tools are provided at no direct cost, they do not create refund rights. If you provide your email to receive results or follow-up content, you may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
8. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe there is an issue with a purchase, booking, charge, refund, or cancellation, we encourage you to contact Minimum Stress first so we can review and attempt to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
In cases of suspected fraud, duplicate claims, abuse, policy misuse, unauthorized activity, or unresolved payment disputes, Minimum Stress may limit access to certain services, accounts, bookings, or platform features where permitted by law.
Nothing in this section limits any consumer protection rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
9. Processing of Approved Refunds
Approved refunds will generally be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
Refund processing times may vary depending on Shopify, payment processors, banks, card networks, and financial institutions. Refunds may take several business days to appear after processing.
Minimum Stress cannot guarantee the exact timing of when a refund will appear on your statement after it has been submitted for processing.
10. Credits and Rescheduling
In some cases, Minimum Stress or the applicable provider may offer store credit, session credit, or rescheduling instead of a refund.
Credits may be subject to expiration dates, provider availability, category restrictions, scheduling limits, or additional terms provided at the time the credit is issued.
11. Exceptions Required by Law
Nothing in this Policy limits any refund, cancellation, consumer protection, or legal rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Where local law requires a different refund or cancellation treatment, we will comply with applicable legal requirements.
12. Policy Changes
Minimum Stress may update or modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time.
Changes will apply to purchases and bookings made after the updated Policy is posted on the platform.
