A private room to see people in, for the time you need
Coaches and independent practitioners need somewhere quiet to sit with one person. An office you use three days a week has four days in it.

About
$390 a month
$4,680 a year, from about 9 booked hours a month. This is your rate in full — nothing is deducted from it.
An estimate from the numbers above, not a forecast. Nobody books every free hour, which is why the share that books is yours to set here rather than hidden in the sum. What you actually earn depends on your town, your hours and your room.
List your spaceAbout ten minutes. You set the hours and the rate, and can change both.
Who uses a consultation room?
A quiet room with two chairs and a door that closes.
For work
- Coaches and consultants
- Practitioners seeing private clients
- Small group sessions
- Workshops
What makes one bookable
- Two chairs that face each other without a desk between them, if you can.
- A door that shuts and a room nobody passes through.
- Genuine sound privacy. Say what is on the other side of the wall — it is the question that decides the booking.
- Somewhere for a client to wait for five minutes without standing on the street, or a clear note that there is not.
- Reliable wifi, and the network name in the entry instructions.
Is my spare office really worth listing?
If it is private, quiet and somebody can find it, yes. This is the room type with the widest gap between what exists and what is bookable — the Bay Area is full of half-used offices and short of anywhere to sit with one person for an hour. The rooms that get booked are not the smartest ones; they are the ones whose listing answered the wall question.
How it works
- 1List your space — photographs, the address, how many it holds, your rate, and the hours you are happy for it to be used. About ten minutes.
- 2Choose what you allow. Personal practice, private client sessions, small groups, a camera in the room — you decide what happens in there, use by use.
- 3Choose how bookings arrive. Approve each request yourself, or let a matching booking go straight through.
- 4Get booked. Everybody says what they are using the space for and how many are coming before they pay, and your rate reaches your bank after each session.
By listing, you agree to our Host Terms.
